Other times, players may stumble into a weapon or other gear that may have been viewed as underwhelming, only to be surprised at how effective it could be under the right circumstances, like the Cluster Mine killstreak.
In a new thread on theCall of Duty: WarzonesubReddit, a user posted a short clip of a cluster mine, with a title calling them overpowered. After picking one up from a supply box, the player heads to a nearby building where multiple enemies are hiding out inside. Coming in the back door, the player throws the cluster mine on the floor next to one of the players, as their teammate comes through the door. While backing out of the room, the player starts shooting as the cluster mine is triggered, setting off a massive explosion that fills the room with first and quickly wipes the enemy team entirely without much trouble.
Comments on the thread largely seemed to agree that cluster mines can be pretty deadly, especially at close range. Interesting enough, the mines are supposed to beep, giving enemy players a chance to counter them or avoid them outright, though when used in such close proximity or during a particularly loud gunfight, it can be difficult to hear the slight beeping noise. Others commented more on the fact that the player managed to sneak up on the enemy team, highlighting the footstepaudio problems that have continued to be an issue for manyWarzoneplayers.
However, Raven is looking to hopefully put its audio problems to rest once and for all. While footstep audio has been a longstanding issue for many players, the studio provided an update on social media,acknowledging the feedback surrounding Warzone footstep audioand confirming that it is looking into possible solutions. While no details were provided on how the issue will be fixed, the studio plans to share more information at a later date.
