A talentedPokemonfan has created fusion art that combines Litwick and Kirlia, achieving an incredible result. ThePokemonfranchise draws inspiration from many places to create the design and stories of the Pokemon, and althoughPokemonprimarily targets a younger audience, it is a known fact to fans that there are Pokedex entries with somewhat sinister stories.
Kirlia is a Psychic/Fairy-type Pokemon introduced in Gen 3 that evolves from Ralts starting at level 20. Although it has powerful psychokinetic abilities, Kirlia is a friendly Pokemon that loves sunny mornings and dancing. Ghost/Fire-type Litwick, on the other hand, can deceive trainers, as it is acute and scary Pokemon. Litwick has a flame on its head that is powered by life energy absorbed by the Pokemon. To get this energy, Litwick pretends to guide people and Pokemon into dark areas, stealing their life energy and sending them into the Ghost World. Its evolutions, Lampent and Chandelure, have equally creepy histories.

Reddit user Eastern-Read-2090 combined Litwick and Kirlia into an impressive fusion art. The user kept the base design of Kirlia’s body and made some changes emphasizing the fusion with Litwick. With this, Kirlia has purple legs and hair, or both reflecting the glow of the flame on top of its head. While there are gentle Pokemon like Lapras and proud ones like Braviary, the result of the fusion art is aPokemon that could be really evil. Much of this is due to the sad and even menacing eyes, as the fan art gives the creature eyes that are shaped like Kirlia’s but yellow like Litwick’s.
The other users of the officialPokemonsubreddit approved the fusion art created by Eastern-Read-2090. One of the comments even drew attention to something interesting: that the fusion could be a type of Past Paradox Pokemon, for which they suggested the name Flaming Fairy.Paradox Pokemonis one of the most recent gimmicks introduced inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, and it has inspired fan art with a lot of creativity. The same user gave the idea that the Pokemon could be Fairy/Fire-type, a combination of types never seen before.
The fusion art of Eastern-Read-2090 does not let one forget theimmense creativity of thePokemoncommunity. It makes fans wonder what it would be like if Kirlia and Litwick had an official fusion, or even if a Paradox Pokemon on these lines was announced by Game Freak. The Kirlia and Litwick fusion also calls attention to how Ghost-typePokemoninevitably stand out due to the potential they have to inspire scary stories, even through fan art.
