The strange indie horror titleInscryptionis filled to the brim with secrets and hidden lore. There is rumored to be a hidden ending from thiscreepy deckbuilding gameInscryption, but getting to this secret information is a wild ride from start to finish. This article contains spoilers for the ending ofInscryption.

Not only has Kaycee’s Mod beta DLC been added to the game, but a brand-new piece of the ending has been found as well. The mysteries of the mailing have been solved, and players were finally treated to the so-called “True Ending,” which was hidden as a YouTube video. This article has been updated with all the new information on this strange addition to an already strange game ending.
The First Cipher Code in Inscryption
Hidden in the game’s files that players have to download in order to play theindie gameInscryption, there is hidden a text file called log.txt. Using a series of decryption codes found in-game, players can find hidden messages. There are currently four known cipher code clues inInscryption, and knowing developer Daniel Mullins Games, players can probably expect to see even more pop up as players dig further into the lore.
The first cipher in thegenre-bendingInscryptionis hidden in the ending cutscene, written on a post-it note. It reads MYCOLOG1ST12|P3RHAPS??|BLOOD$L3TT3R8OX
In order to use the cipher, players need to use the combined code of the three above in the OLD_DATA:

The second clue for the next cipher is found in this lore conversation that has been decoded by using the first cipher
The clue is all of the odd text inside of brackets and the cipher is SE:167BP:TRU|23K2F!00R|ARCHIV$NEW#GAME?
The Third Cipher in Inscryption
After using the second cipher just like the first, players will get this conversation in Polish, and will once again need the info from inside all the brackets:

The Fourth Cipher in Inscryption
So when this third clue is ciphered, it finally unlocked the log.txt file. It is completely readable now as a URL. Clicking it leads to a Kaminski order form, and as manyInscryptionfans know, Kaminski is one of the many death cards players can come across. At first, the website had three boxes players could fill out. This has since been taken down and replaced with a message urging players to wait and be patient. This seems in line with other Mullin’s titles, with their involved and difficultvideo game puzzles.
Many players managed to type in their email and physical addresses before the site was taken down. Once it was full, the website read:, “Orders is full. Seriously, what is wrong with YOU? Please await packages in the mail if ordered.” So players waited and after a while, their patience was rewarded.
The Final Cipher, the Karnoffel Code, and the Hidden Ending of Inscryption
Three fans who had given the site their address received floppy disks. These disks contained three files with the final puzzle:

Along with a variety of images relating to the mystery ofInscryptionas well as the conversation between the people who found the deck of cards in Hitler’s pocket. The cards, when viewed in order, created the Karnoffel Code, which was the basis of the worst parts of the code that madeInscryptionpossible. But there was also a link to a YouTube video that showed the Stoat back at his old tricks again.
This was an unlisted video attached to a YouTube channel called Kaminski Mfg. that has no other listed content on their channel. And that is the secret hiddenending ofInscryption.
