A new jarring video fromMarvel’s Spider-Manshows why players shouldn’t skip cut-scenes in the game. The video shows a player skipping a cut-scene in the middle of a conversation which then cuts to a character waking up after an explosion. The cut-scene in question happens roughly halfway throughMarvel’s Spider-Manand features a point-of-view shift.
In 2018,Marvel’s Spider-Manhit shelves and digital storefronts worldwide and was a massive hit for Sony and developer Insomniac Games. The game would go on to sell over 33 million copies worldwide and have its first spinoff in the form ofMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Miles Morales was a supporting character in the first game and, at times, could be controlled by the player. This new clip, however, turns one of the character’s most defining moments and turns it into a jarring mess.

FollowingMarvel’s Spider-Man’s release, the game would be made available on the PlayStation 5 and later on Steam, introducing new audiences to the video game. A three-part expansion pass would release new DLC throughout the year which continued the main game’s story. Asequel known asMarvel’s Spider-Man 2was revealed in September 2021though it isn’t clear when the game will be released. In the meantime, however, fans are still finding fun details and odd quirks within the PlayStation 4 title.

Another noticed that Oscorp thought they had discovered the true identity of Spider-Man and were extremely off. Others have pointed out bizarre glitches that will otherwise ruin important moments. It all goes to show just how dedicated players are to the game and likely will be until the next game is released.
