As May comes to an end, many are no doubt wondering what’s next forXbox Game Pass. There are alreadyfour titles confirmed for Game Pass in June 2022, but those are obviously just the tip of the iceberg. It’s expected that Game Pass will announce some new games on either May 30 or May 31, but there may not be many surprises in store.

That’s becauseXbox Game Passis likely saving them for one date, meaning fans may only learn about new games for the first third of the month or so—instead of the first half. No matter what, though, it seems Xbox Game Pass intends to come out and play next month.

Xbox Game Pass – June 2022

It should be noted that Xbox Game Pass proves its worth every month. It adds tons of new games to the service, with each month often outpacing theXbox Game Pass titles leaving the service. Typically, close to 20 games are added every month, and that’s a big win on its own. There’s no reason to think that Xbox Game Pass’ pace will slow down; in fact, it could very well be the opposite.

As many know, the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase is taking place on June 12, where new Xbox Game Pass announcements are expected to be made. One of those is expected to be anew Xbox Game Pass family plan, so players are able to share their Xbox Game Pass subscriptions with their families. Reportedly, this Xbox Game Pass family plan will grant access up to five players for a price cheaper than 5 Game Pass subscriptions. If true, this is big. While Xbox Game Pass may have acompetitor in PS Plus Premium releasing next month, this move is likely to continue Game Pass’ domination in the subscription sphere.

Furthermore, rumors have it that the date and full ofUbisoft Plus releasing on Game Pass will be announced; truth be told, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this shadow dropped at the event. This is already, in a way, being teased since two Ubisoft games are dropping on the service next month.

Many also expect Microsoft to announce at least one, if not more, big third-party gain for Xbox Game Pass in the fall. WithStarfieldno longer launching later this year, it’s perhaps the best move to prove the consistent value of Xbox Game Pass. It could be thatXbox announces a new Fall/Holiday 2022 game instead, but it’s uncertain if Microsoft has anything in the works that could release at this time.

Beyond all the speculation above, the presentation is going to be filled to the brim with new game announcements, trailers, and reveals, while Xbox Game Pass is going to make it out with some new announcements and some new games revealed for June and beyond. If anyone is questioning their Xbox Game Pass subscription right now, it would seem that June 12 is the date they want to wait for.
