A lot of horror films celebrate the slasher villain or the threat as the main appeal. Jason Voorhees, The Predator, The Xenomorph Alien and Michael Myers are all the main draw for these movies. Not many people go to watch the cast, for the most part, because each film brings in a new character with each sequel.Jurassic Parkis an exceptionby a minor technicality because they keep reoccurring protagonists while the dinosaurs are just the overarching threat. A lot of characters have been introduced to this universe and managed to survive the horrors thrown at them, which may allow for them to potentially return in a future film.
