On Aug 04, 2025, Epic Games and LEGO announced that two new, smaller-scale game modes would be heading toLEGO Fortnite. Packaged under the term “LEGO Fortnite Islands,” these two game modes reuseLEGO Fortnite’s assetsto produce smaller-scale experiences designed for quick bursts of gameplay. The first of these modes is titledLEGO Fortnite: Raft Survival.
An addictive and challenging little mode,LEGO Fortnite: Raft Survivalsees a group of players attempt to stay afloat on a crumbling raft asthe iconic LEGO Pirates character, Captain Redbeard, bombards them with cannon fire from his ship, the Barracuda. Players will need to frantically search floating chests and use the resources found within to quickly build additional raft tiles, thus allowing them to survive Redbeard’s bombardment for longer, and increase their overall score.
LEGO Fortnite’s Obby Fun Mode Explained
The second mode available as part ofLEGO Fortnite’s new Islands update, Obby Fun will immediately grab the attention of those missinglast year’sOnly Up!. Obby Fun sees players make their way through a series of challenging LEGO obstacle courses, either alone or with nine other players. Obby Fun’s mechanics may be simple, but its 300 levels are sure to keep fans entertained for at least a little while, especially when the vast majority of those are modeled after classic LEGO themes.
