It is now reported that Logan Paul has filed a defamationlawsuitagainst Coffeezilla in a San Antonio, Texas District Court. The lawsuit alleges that Coffeezilla, who describes himself as an investigative journalist but lacks formal journalism training or a private investigator’s license, maliciously published false statements accusing Paul of running a scam with the blockchain projectCryptoZoo. Paul claims that Coffeezilla deliberately left out information that would have demonstrated his genuine efforts to ensure the success ofCryptoZoo, aiming instead to boost his own profile and increase his audience and income.Logan Paul also mentioned that he was deceived by several trustedadvisers who turned out to be con men.
The suit also states that, initially,Paul was willing to move on and introduced a “buyback program” to compensateCryptoZooNFT holders with over $1 million. However, he decided to take legal action after Coffeezilla continued to publish defamatory videos and social media posts in 2023 and 2024, further alleging thatCryptoZoowas a scam orchestrated by Paul.
