Known for beingone of the most influential survival games of all time, the Mojang sandbox title has proven itself on countless occasions to be an unending source of player creativity. Its distinctive graphics, appeal to all ages, sprawling landscape, and near-infinite building potential has kept it at the top of the gaming industry for years.
Given its significance, it’s not unusual forMinecraftand other forms of pop cultureto meet in the middle. From recreations of famous moments from iconic films to having an officialSimpsonsopening made in the game’s visual style, not to mention projects that go towards raising awareness or charity funds,Minecrafthas cemented itself as an important aspect of mass culture. Take Reddit user tucker-ed-out as an example. In a series of images uploaded to theMinecraftforum, they showed off their skills by exhibiting a replica of the planet Gallifrey, as seen in the hugely successful BBC sci-fi show. Each screenshot gives a little taste of the blocky facsimile of the home of the Doctor. The user says this project contains every single location from the fictional world, as well as Daleks, Cybermen, Chancellery Guards, and more. It doesn’t appear as though they’ve made the build available for download, but tucker-ed-out has told those interested that they can visit the planet on the user’s server.

Last year, a fan decided to create their own accurate representation of the TARDIS police box.
