On the quest to obtain Damascus,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers need to finish every gun challenge. This includes unconventional weapons like the Riot Shield, Knife, and Launchers.Modern Warfareprovides a wide selection of launchers, but some launchers are easier to level than others.
One launcher that is particularly hard to use against other players is the JOKR. This launcher fires directly into the air resulting in an attack from above against its unsuspecting victim. Although there areguides for the Strela and RPG, not much is shared to help make leveling the JOKR any easier. Players are left wondering how otherModern Warfarefans survive the launcher grind and made it to the infamous Damascus.

The video posted by Young_Dagger on Reddit shows them using a JOKR launcher on the Shipment map. Rather than focusing on a target, they instead target a back wall near one of the corners where players often travel. Carefully aiming, they launch the rocket into the air and then promptly die. Their respawn is lucky enough to show fans the rocket’s impact as he kills several players in one hit by taking advantage of the JOKR’s blast radius.
Although this tip might not help fans ofModern Warfaredominate the map, it does make the weapon grind on JOKR slightly easier. Achieving player kills can quickly become a frustrating experience as the JOKR is designed to bring down aerial threats. Most players tend to speed past theKill Enemy Killstreaks mission inModern Warfare, leaving only the player kills in their way between collecting all the skins.
Normally this evolves intoModern Warfarefans ignoring the effect on their K/D and charging at enemies with their launcher hoping to fire the shot before they die. With the built-in lock-on system of the JOKR, this strategy tends to not work leaving players to camp and hope that the opponent doesn’t move. In the fast-paced arena that isModern Warfare,this hope does not last long as enemies sprint non-stop towards objectives and kill.
Small maps like Shipment can seem like a great solution as large blast radius weapons can bring down multiple players in small spaces. With the return ofShipment 24/7 onModern Warfare,there is now ample opportunity to grind out weapon skins and kills on a small, blast zone friendly, map.
