Monster Hunter Riseis completely unapologetic in the way it expects its players to gather hundreds of different materials in the pursuit of slightly better gear and weapons. In fact, this gathering, hunting, and crafting gameplay loop is what made many people fans of the franchise to start with and it’s what will always keep themcoming back for the next installment.

Dragonbone Relics are just another example of an item that hunters have no idea how to find until they need it for some random piece of gear. So, for the players who are just trying to craft some High-Rank Dober Set pieces or even just a fancy Bnahabra Bow, here’s where to find these Relics inMonster Hunter: Rise.
Updated April 20th by Jacob Buchalter:With theaddition of Sunbreakto Monster Hunter Rise, a lot of different materials in the game received new farming locations or easier methods to gather them. Dragonbone Relics are an example of this, as there are now more locations in which this item can be found. And, since many people are coming back to the game to check out Title Update 5, Amatsu, Risen Gore Magala, or even the mystery final monster coming in about 2 months (at the time of writing this), it seemed like a good time to go over how to find this material once again.
Dragonbone Relic Locations
First of all, to get access to the areas required to gatherDragonbone Relicsas well as many other materials, players will need to reachHigh-Rank(AKA Rank 4 in the Hub Quests). After doing this, they have two routes to gather Relics, either hope they get them from the few Quests in which they might appear as aQuest Rewardor simply farm foragingBonepileson High-Rank versions of some of the maps. Obviously, the second option is the better choice here, but for those who would rather do the Quests, both the6-Star Lava Caverns Sweep Questand the7-Star Can’t Kill It With Fire Questhave a 6 percent chance to reward Dragonbone Relics in the results screen.
Now, for everyone else who wants to go the simpler route, there are three maps in whichDragonbone Relicscan be found by foragingBonepiles:
But, just so players are aware, there are a variety of different items that can be obtained from these Bonepiles, and it’s completely random. So, it might take a bit of time to gather the number of Relics needed depending on the player’s luck. And finally,there is one additional way to get Dragonbone Relics, and that’s fromsending the Meowcenaries out to the Flooded Forestwhen there’s asparking Bonepile Iconon it somewhere, though this also isn’t a guarantee.
Bonepile Map Locations
Let’s be honest, with every Icon turned on in theDetailed Map, it’s pretty visually overwhelming. There’s a lot thatRise’sDetailed Map keeps track of, which is still absolutely a good thing. To narrow this down to Bonepiles specifically, players just need to pull up theIcon List, go over to either theMaterials 1or2pages, and then selectBonepiles.
From there, the map should show where all of the Bonepiles are located exactly. Just make sure to look at both the above and below-ground levels, as a lot of maps have lower cave areas that house a Bonepile or two. To break down all the Bonepile locations in these three maps, there are:
