Typically, fans can expect redeeming aBorderlands 3Shift Code to grant them with no more than three Golden Keys. However, developer Gearbox Software has just shattered this expectation, sharing a brand new Shift Code thatBorderlands 3players can use to obtain a staggering 10 Golden Keys.
This newBorderlands 3Shift Codewill be active until Jun 12, 2025 at 11:59pm PST, and it as follows: C3C3B-BB9SS-FTKHK-ZTWTB-99CRX. As per usual, this code can be redeemed either in-game or through Gearbox’s website, and fans will find 10 Golden Keys inside of theirBL3mailbox once it has been entered. From there, they should simply visit the Golden Chest found in Sanctuary 3 to obtain some free and powerful loot.

With respect to why Gearbox has issued this awesome new Shift Code, it is said to be a thank you to players for their participation in theVault Insider Program. This special program was launched last year as a way for fans to earn freeBL3loot prior to the game’s release date, and it will be coming to an end on Aug 04, 2025 at 11:59pm PST. As such, fans are advised to use their points soon before they lose them all for good.
To note, redeeming Shift Codes and using Golden Keys is not currently the only thing that players may want to jump in-game for, as theBorderlands 3Broken Hearts Day eventis currently ongoing as well. This event gives fans access to some brand new loot, including a very powerful sniper called the Wedding Invitation, but players interested in participating in the festivities will need to act fast, as Broken Hearts Day will conclude this Thursday, February 20.
Additionally, Gearbox has just increased theBorderlands 3level capfrom 50 to 53, and players that have been away from the game for while can thus put a little work towards powering up their Vault Hunters even further if they so choose. That said, the level cap increase also means that gear can now drop at level 53, and players that have not reached the new maximum may wish to level up before using these new Golden Keys in order to receive the most powerful rewards possible.
