The developer may have missed the mark by a few days since the game released on July 25, 2025, but the expansive “Echoes” update seems to have struck a chord with the fanbase.

No Man’s Sky’sEchoes update is off to a strong startwith all the additional cosmetics that were added. Reddit user flashmedallion shared an image of their character sporting several of the new additions, calling the cosmetics in this update “flawless.” The character is sporting one of the new head designs and a poncho obtained at the new Autophage camps, as well as a Voltaic Staff obtained by buying parts and assembling them also at the new Autophage camps.
The Echoes update has only been out for a few days, so it will be interesting to see what else is discovered and created as players continue digging into it.No Man’s Skycontinues to be one of the best sandbox gamesfor creative gamers to explore, and Hello Games has added more and more options for players to create a truly unique appearance with each new update.
The introduction of the Autophage race of automatons and the associated cosmetics is just the beginning. There is also an entire new language for players to learn, along with a veritable boatload of other tweaks both major and minor. A new expedition, “Voyagers,” has also arrived along with the Echoes update. Taking part will allow players to earn more unique and exoticNo Man’s Skycosmetics, although these rewards appear to be mostly (if not exclusively) base cosmetics.
