With the recent conclusion of the Wano Country arc, the Yonko Saga ofOne Piececoncluded as well. Spanning across 4 arcs in the New World, namely Zou, Reverie, Whole Cake Island, and Wano, this saga held tremendous importance in the growth of the crew. The end of this saga signifies thatLuffy has finally achieved great infamyand power by reaching the position of Yonko, also called the Four Emperors of the Sea.

The Four Emperors of the Sea are pirates whose reputation precedes them and they are only outshined by the King of the Pirates himself. Their influence is tremendous and they usually control and protect large areas and multiple islands. Expectedly, they also have extremely powerful crews. Luffy managed to obtain this title and become aYonko, joining Blackbeard, Shanks, and Buggy after the Straw Hat Pirates played a key role in the fall of not one but two Yonko in Kaido and Big Mom. Everyone in the Straw Hat Pirates was extremely influential in this Raid on Onigashima as they aided by defeating the Beasts Pirates crew’s All Stars and Tobi Roppo. Now, the crew is officially recognized as a Yonko crew and Luffy’s subordinates are known as the Nine Great Officers.
Yonko Officers
The Yonko crews inOne Pieceusually follow a very straightforward composition when it comes to the structure of their crew. Under every Yonko is a set of Commanders, sometimes also known as Executives or Officers. While in some crews, they all hold equal authority, others see a division on the basis of how strong and competent they are.One of the former Four Emperors of the Sea, Big Mom was defeated by Worst Generation members Trafalgar D. Water Law and Eustass Kid after the two awakened their Devil Fruits and teamed up. Prior to her fall, however, fans got a good look at the structure of her crew.
The Big Mom Pirates are set up with ‘Big Mom’ Charlotte Linlin as the captain. Until recently, Big Mom had four Sweet Commanders under her, namely, Charlotte Snack, Charlotte Cracker, Charlotte Smoothie, and Charlotte Katakuri. However, before Luffy’s arrival, Charlotte Snack had been removed from his position, leaving his mother, Linlin, with only three Sweet Commanders. Out of these 3, Charlotte Katakuri, her second-eldest son is the strongest. Followed by the Sweet Commanders are the many officers of the crew which include some very capable fighters, such as her eldest son Perospero, among others.
Similarly, The Beasts Pirates also have a similar structure. A meritocracy, Kaido’s crew is divided into multiple groups, notably the All Stars, the Tobi Roppo, the Shinuchi, the Gifters, the Pleasures, the Waiters, and finally, the Numbers. Out of all of these, only the All Stars and Tobi Roppo hold up and are considered the most powerful in the crew after Kaido himself. The Tobi Roppo are a group of six strongest Shinuchi. Fans saw them in action on Onigashima where, all of them, apart from the traitor X Drake, were defeated by Luffy’s Officers. Meanwhile, the All Stars are the top three most powerful fighters under Kaido and are just below the King of Beasts himself. They act similarly to the Sweet Commanders and are composed of King, Queen, and Jack.

There are, however,different Yonko crew hierarchies, like Whitebeard’s crew– the Whitebeard Pirates. Whitebeard’s crew consisted of 16 Divisions, with each division having its own Commander. Each of the Commanders held equal authority, however, their strength certainly varied. Meanwhile, Shanks' crew is known to have 10 Officers, the strongest of which are Yasopp, Lucky Roux, and the First Mate, Ben Beckman. On the other hand, Yonko Blackbeard’s crew functions quite similarly to Shanks'.
The Nine Great Officers Of The Straw Hat Pirates
Coming over toMonkey D. Luffy, his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, is a relatively very small crew compared to the other Yonko. Currently, the crew consists of nine Officers, which the world has dubbed the Nine Great Officers. They include ‘the Swordsman’ Roronoa Zoro, ‘the Navigator’ Nami, ‘the Sniper’s Usopp, ‘the Cook’ Sanji, ‘the Doctor ' Tony Tony Chopper, ‘the Archaeologist’ Nico Robin, ‘the Shipwright ' Franky, ‘the Musician’ Brook, and finally, the latest addition to the crew, ‘the Helmsman ' Jinbe. Kaido’s child, Yamato, was set to join the crew and sail with them but decided they’d rather stay on Wano for now. It is possible for Yamato to integrate with the Straw Hat Pirates later, possibly towards the end of the series.
Luffy’s crew can be divided into 2 main groups, the Officers and a subdivision of his officers which includes the strongest three. The Officers include most of the crew members who are not usually considered the muscle of the crew, however, all of them can still stand their ground in most fights, as shown in Wano when they all fought and defeated the Tobi Roppo. Even the weakest of the lot are feared by the World Government, as evident from their incredibly high bounties. Apart from Chopper, whose bounty is a gag, Nami holds the lowest bounty in the crew at 366 million berries, which just goes to show that the crew is feared worldwide.

Out of the Nine Great Officers, three crewmates in Jinbe, Sanji, and Zoro, stand out the most and represent, as of now, Luffy’s most powerful men that are capable of taking out powerful adversaries. These three are comparable to the likes of the All Stars and the Sweet Commanders of the Beasts Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates respectively. They are fighters with incredible combat ability who shield Yonko Luffy’s back. Their reputation in the One Piece world is incredible and they have made quite a name for themselves.
All three of them possess bounties of over 1,000,000,000 berries on their heads, as showcased following the recent conclusion of the Wano arc. Sanji, despite being the second-strongest of the crew, has the lowest bounty of the three at 1.032 billion berries. He is followed by the former Shichibukai, ‘Knight of the Sea’ Jinbe, who has a 1.1 billion berries bounty. Finally, Zoro has the highest bounty of the three with a reward of 1.111 billion berries on his head. It’s unclear where Yamato would fit if they join the crew, but it’s likely that they would be over Jinbe in the crew’s hierarchy.
