The Trickster dealing damage

The Trickster is known as the damage class and works with close-range abilities to get in the enemy’s face and wreak havoc. The Devastator is known as the tank and is great for players who want to be able to take a ton of hits without going down. This class also excels at damage using earth-based attacks. Let’s pit these two against each other, to see which is truly superior.

10Trickster: High Damage Output

TheTrickster is great for damage, and thanks to its abilities, players who choose this class are guaranteed to put out some high numbers. One of the key abilities, Anomaly Bullets, can help the Trickster take down enemies easily without the need of going the extra mile. Other abilities like Venator’s Knife help the Trickster get even more damage out of their shots.

The class tree is also designed to increase damage as players progress through it. Without a doubt. players will have a pretty easy time taking down their enemies with this class.

9Devastator: Great For Crowd Control

The Trickster is able to dish out some massive damage numbers, but only against single targets. On the other hand, the Devastator is great at crowd control. This class can create some great damage numbers as well, but against multiple enemies at once.

Some ofthe best abilitiesthe Devastator possesses focus on hitting several enemies at a time, pulling them closer together, and pushing them away. The Devastator can treat enemies like rag dolls, tossing them around the battlefield.

8Trickster: Speed & Mobility

The Trickster is a class thatis meant for mobility. Players should treat this class like other hit-and-run classes: get in, deal damage, and get out fast before getting beaten up too badly. Players who interested in speed should choose the Trickster, whose speed will help them avoid damage and get around the battlefield quickly.

Abilities like Hunt The Prey and Borrowed Time help the Trickster get around via teleportation. Hunt The Prey allows the Trickster to teleport behind enemies, while Borrowed Time allows them to teleport back to an area they were previously at.

7Devastator: Health Regeneration

Tanks are meant to have massive health pools, to help them survive the never-ending onslaught of enemies. Their purpose is to draw an enemy’s attention to help protect their allies. The Devastator fits that role well with the health regeneration that they get.

Players who choose to follow the Warden Class Tree will be granted perks like health regeneration, which gets stronger the higher their max health is. This class tree will also give the Devastator additional health and grant health regeneration whenever they pick up ammo. Players can also add mods to grant health regeneration when activating abilities.

6Trickster: High Firepower Rating

While other classes can achieve some pretty impressive firepower ratings, the Trickster’s is by far the greatest – which makes sense as a damage-dealer Upon achieving level thirty, the Trickster will be able to reach a firepower rating of at least 30,000.

In comparison, the Devastator would probably have a firepower rating of around 25,000. Of course, this also depends on what world tier the player is on.

5Devastator: The Bleed Effect

Status effects are an important aspect of a tank. In this vein, theDevastator gets the bleed statuseffect that it can inflict on enemies. Bleed causes enemies to take damage over time as they move around the battlefield.

The Devastator has multiple skills that inflict bleed on multiple enemies at once, which can really help take enemies down while performing crowd control maneuvers on them. Having constanthealth damage affecting enemies is extremely useful, especially when playing on a team.

4Trickster: The Slow Effect

Maybe it is a contradiction that the Tricksterslows enemies down, considering they are based on speed. Either way, it’s massively helpful. Multiple skills that the Trickster possesses can apply the Slow debuff on enemies. They can also apply it whenever they perform a melee attack.

This debuff helps whenever enemies are charging allies, and can also be useful when enemies are shooting the player. Slow can make bullets easier to dodge, and also allow the Trickster to get around enemies to attack them from behind.

3Devastator: The Best Team Player

The Devastator is a tank, meaning that its role is to help allies in the heat of battle. This class can obtain mods that allow allies to heal, while their crowd control abilities will help allies avoid taking as much damage. The Warden Class Tree allows the Devastator to increase healing done to allies, as well as increase ally shields.

The Devastator can also use the Reflect Bullets skill to protect allies from incoming damage by catching the bullets and shooting them back at the enemies that fired them. All of these are vital in helping allies survive on the battlefield.

2Trickster: The Slow Trap Skill

One of the best skills that the Trickster has access to is Slow Trap. This skill is great foravoiding damage, and players can also use it to take down enemies. Slow Trap places a large bubble in an area that slows down everything that enters it. The Trickster and their allies remain at full speed, while all enemies and projectiles slow down.

The Trickster can use this skill to take a breather on the battlefield and regenerate their health. They can also employ it in combination with other abilities to quickly take enemies down.

1Devastator: High Armor Rating

The last of the Devastator’s classic tank traits is armor. The Devastator is capable of achieving a truly insane armor rating. At level 30, the Devastator can have upwards of 50,000 armor. This armor is great to help the Devastator avoid taking large amounts of damage, just like a true tank.

The Devastator can also get damage bonuses based on their armor rating. This can help them when using their abilities to further damage enemies.
