Palworld’swide assortment of Pals offers a ton of options for players when exploring the world and building up their base. One Pal who can come in very handy is Gorrirat, who has an excellent assortment of Work Suitabilities paired with an attack-boosting partner skill.
Gorrirat has the following Work Suitabilities inPalworld: Handiwork 1, Lumbering 2, Transporting 3. This makes it a perfect handyman to run around your base and transport items while harvesting wood to fuel further construction. When in combat, Gorrirat’s Neutral Element allows it to handle combat against most enemy types without worrying about type advantages, unless a Dark Element Pal is the opponent.
Where to Catch Gorrirat
Gorrirat can be found roaming in a region to the northeast of the Desolate Church in abundance, making the task of finding them rather straightforward. See the map above for examples of such locations and a full habitat breakdown from the Paldeck. Once players have tracked down a Gorrirat, they’ll need to approach it with caution. Gorrirat are aggressive and often wander in pairs, so players will need to try to separate them by shooting one from a distance. (Avoid targeting one while the other is looking at them, since this will aggro both immediately)
When fighting Gorrirat,players should deploy Dark Element Pals to take advantage of its weakness(Nox is useful here since it also applies Dark to the player’s weapons) and whittle down its health. Gorrirat can perform a dangerous triple-stomp attack, so when it jumps towards you, it’s important to roll away. The third jump launches higher into the air and takes longer to land, so watch carefully and learn the pattern, or it’ll deal a lot of damage.
Gorrirat’s Abilities
Gorrirat is a competent combatant with the Partner Skill “Full-power Gorilla Mode”, which boosts its attack power when activated. This pairs well with the Hooligan Trait it frequently spawns with, giving it tremendous power against most foes (again, Dark Element enemies will be quite a problem.)If utilizing Gorrirat at the base, it has access to Handiwork 1, Lumbering 2, and Transport 3 as Work Suitabilities. This is a great set of skills for keeping a base running smoothly, though the Hooligan trait reduces Work Speed by 15% and is nearly always present on Gorrirat when caught. Players who get a Gorrirat with traits that boost its Work Speed will find it a valuable ally.
