Have you found yourself catching a bunch of the same Pal inPalworld, with no use for the extra ones that you’ve caught? Luckily, there’s something you can do with this, and it involves the Pal Distillation Pod, also known as thePal Essence Condenser.
This item can be incredibly useful and allow you to increase the rank of your Pals significantly. You’ll also be able to prevent your Palbox from overflowing with extra Pals of the same species and leave space for new Pals. If you’re looking to add this structureto your base, here’s how you may unlock it.
How to Get Pal Distillation Pod in Palworld
To unlock the Pal Distillation Pod (Pal Essence Container), you’ll need to first get someAncient Technology Points.These become availableafter Level 7,and they can usually be obtained fromBosses. The best boss to take on first isZoe and Grizzbolt,who can be found northwest of the Plateau of Beginnings in theTower of the Rayne Syndicate, shown in the second image above.
Eventually, once you reachLevel 14,you’ll find the Pal Essence Container on the right-hand side under the purple column. You’ll needone Ancient Technology Pointto unlock it.When you’ve unlocked it, open up your Build Wheel and scroll to the’Pal' section.You’ll be able to build the Pal Essence Container from here with these ingredients:
Paldium Fragments are relatively easy to find,and you can use our guide to find them.Ingots can be made with a Furnace using Ore.You can getAncient Civilization Parts from Bosses,just like Ancient Technology Points. This includes the bosses that are outside and not in a tower, such as theLevel 11 Chillet near the Fort Ruins.It is also possible to come across them in chests.
How to Use Pal Distillation Pod in Palworld
Pal Essence Containers are a great way to take some Pals that you have multiple copies of andbring them together to increase the rank of one Pal.They can have 4 rank increases, with a different number of Pals being required for each level:
To use the Pal Essence Container, open it up andchoose the Base Palthat will be leveled up. Then, you’ll want tochoose all the Pals of the same species that you are okay with letting go of, and they will be distilled. Then, you’ll have successfully ranked up your Pal.
