One of the best parts about the PlayStation 4 UI were the themes that players could use to personalize their console experience. Even three years later, many gamers are stillhoping that the PS5 will eventually get themes, though Sony has never really commented on the subject. In the meantime, a very small callback to that longed-for customization option are PSN avatars, which allow players to at least change one aspect of their gamer profile.
To celebrate the Season of Play, five unique PSN avatars have been made available, and they can be claimed for free until January 5.
