A user named HoundoomKaboom on Reddit uploaded 20 different fusions they designed to the site. Among them are combinations ofpopular Pokemon from the franchise, such as Gengar and Cosmog, Lugia and Shuckle, Lanturn and Xurkitree, Kantonian Ninetails and Alolan Marowak, and Blastoise and Aggron, just to name a few.

The Gengar and Cosmog fusion design includes a clever use of the body of Gengar. Gengar has his original shape mostly intact, but Cosmog’s colors and golden parts shine through. Another fusion designed by HoundoomKaboom includes the combination of Gardeviour and Celesteela. In the design, Cressellias body makes up most of the creature, with Gardeviour’s head and arms holding one of the large ligaments of Cressellia. Other Pokemon fans have made interesting fusions, which include aMr. Mime and Gengar combination, lovingly named by the community as Mr. Gar.
ThePokemonseries has barely scratched the surface of what fusions could be like in the mainline games.
