Lechonk is an adorable pig Pokemon that many players first saw inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, but it is now available inPokemon GO. Not only does this bring a new Pokemon for players to add to their Pokedex, but also an additional fighting-type Pokemon to add to a trainer’s party for raids and battles.

With the addition of this new Pokemon that was introduced during thePladean Adventure event, players can get Lechonk and its evolution, Oinkologne, as well. Trainers will want to note that Oinkologne does have two different variants when it comes to its male and female versions, which will be explained in this guide, as well as if Lechonk has a Shiny inPokemon GO.

How to Get Shiny Lechonk

Lechonk can indeed be Shiny, turning its normal brown color into a pretty pink that is easily visible on all its evolutions. Trainers will be able to see Lechonksspawn on thePokemon GOmap. However, they will need to click on each one to see if it is a Shiny or not. While finding Lechonks spawning in the wild, it is worth considering catching them and transferring unwanted ones for some extra candies.

Once a trainer evolves the Shiny Lechonk, it will become a stunning pink variant of Oinkologne, which depends on whether it is male or female and on which one will be received.

How to Evolve Lechonk Into Oinkologne

Lechonk has been pretty common in Pokemon GO to spawn in the wild; using incense can also improve the chances of it spawning as well. Once a trainer gets the Pokemon, they will be able to evolve it immediately without any extra steps as long as they have enough candies. In order to evolve Lechonk into Oinkologne, they will need 50 candies, and that will be its final evolution.

After players have evolved Lechonk into its final evolution, trainers can teach it another attacking moveand power it up with any extra candies to make it even more powerful. To get the candies needed to evolve Lechonk, players can obtain them simply by catching the Pokemon and transferring it. Using Pinap Berries can increase how many candies are given after each catch, which can then be used to evolve the Pokemon.

Lechonk can be a pretty good fighting-type Pokemon, so players will be pleased once they have evolved it to its final stage and can use it in a raid.
