Pokemon Gold and Silverare often considered amongthe bestPokemongames ever madeby many in the community. The second generation was the first to support full colors, more detailed sprites, and it had several new ideas that became common in the franchise, including shiny Pokemon, breeding creatures, and the Dark and Steel types. Now, a nostalgicPokemonfan called Mich-spich decided to share an amazing pixel animation art featuring Suicune, Entei, and Raikou in front of the Burning Tower. In the piece, which has two versions, an animated and a still one, it’s possible to see all three Legendary Beasts featured in all of their glory at the time when the tower burned. The Burning Tower, which is featured in the artwork, is an important location related to the lore of Johto, where thePokemon Gold and Silvergames are set. It’s said that this tower from Ecruteak City burned 150 years before the game, and it was the birthplace of the three Legendary Beasts, which were burned in the fire and were returned to life by Ho-Oh, becoming mythical creatures.

This impressive artwork made by Mich-spich is not the only recent piece to feature these popular creatures, though. A few months ago,aPokemonfan gave Entei a past Paradox form. In this new form, the Fire-based Legendary Beast was reimagined as a triceratops that looked huge with menacing horns and sharp claws.

Curiously, reimagining the Legendary Beasts as dinosaurs seems to be quite a common trend in thePokemoncommunity. An example of that was published earlier this year, and it featureda past Paradox form for Raikou. In this case, Raikou was redesigned as an ankylosaurus, keeping the general aesthetics of the Pokemon at the same time as it changed its shape to resemble this specific type of dinosaur.Pokemonfans will certainly continue to use Entei, Suicune, and Raikou in their art, and it’s possible that fans may see even better pieces in the future.
