This guide will talk aboutFletchlingin particular, a tiny robin Pokemon that’s been around sincePokemon X & Y; players that want to know how to catch and evolve it should keep reading to become informed.
How To Evolve Fletchling
Fletchling is a Pokemon that players will most likely encounter earlier on in their playthrough. It’s commonly found instarter areas of the Paldean mapsuch as South Province Area One, Two, and Five. This means that it’ll probably be a Pokemon that trainers would like to evolve first.
Thankfully, Fletchling isn’t difficult to evolve at all; there’s no overly complicated procedure that must be followed in order for it to evolve.Fletchling will evolve into Fletchinder once it reaches level 17 and, later on, Fletchinder will evolve into Talonflame once it reaches level 35. The only way to prevent this from happening is to have the Pokemon hold anEverstone - an item that prevents the holder from evolving- so you don’t have to worry about anything else except leveling up with your Pokemon to get it to evolve.

Players can also find Fletchinder and Talonflame in the wild, but they need to significantly progress in the game and discover different areas of the map.An alternative way to find these Pokemon is to enter 3-Star Tera Raid battles (Fletchinder) or 5- and 6-Star Tera Raid battles (Talonflame.)
The most viable way to evolve Fletchling, though, is to level it up; plus, if it’san already egg-bred Pokemon, it’s the only way to go. Thankfully, you don’t have to gain XP by battling endlessly, there are efficient methods to do it quickly without having to engage in dozens of battles. This is where Exp. Candy and Rare Candy come in. Players can find these candies by exploring the Paldea region but most importantly bycompleting Tera Raid battles, the harder these Tera Raids the more candy they’ll receive.
Exp. Candy is great for leveling up low-level Pokemon since it gives them a certain amount of XP. Rare Candy is best for leveling up high-level Pokemon since it gets them to the next level regardless of how much XP they still need to get there.
