While it’s free to download, there are in-game purchases for those who want the full experience. With an ever-growing roster, it may be challenging to set up a build for each Pokemon - especially for newcomers.
As of August 08, 2025, the Fire/Psychic-type Delphox has stepped into the arena for the first time inPokemon Unite. Delphox made its debut inPokemon X/Yas the final evolution of the Fire-type starter, Fennekin. InPokemon Unite, players can also equip Delphox with Holowear by spending Holowear Tickets. However, before deciding on what Delphox should wear into battle, it needs to have a solid Build to hold its own out in the field.

Delphox Builds in Pokemon Unite
As an overview, Delphox is anAttackerwith aRangedType. Unlike physical hitters such as Lucario, Delphox’s Damage Type isSpecial.
As a (currently) S-tier unit, Delphox is easy for beginners and experts alike with its long-range moves and a moveset with quick cooldowns. On the other hand,Delphox’s bane is its low defenseand physical attack.
Since it doesn’t have enough Defense to be a wall against an onslaught of attackers, Delphox works better as a DPS (damaged per second) unit. Make use of its Fire Attacks and equip it with the right Held Items to bring out its full potential.
There are a few Builds players can use for Delphox which can change the type of Lane it’s best suited for in the Remoat Stadium. Here’s an overview of its moves and its best items:

6 seconds
This move will hit anything in front of Delphox. Its leftover trail of flames will deal damage to any Pokemon that happens to be in the same lane.
4.5 seconds
Operates similar to Fire Blast, but will explode when it hits its target.

8 seconds
Delphox will create a fire tornadothat will go after the closest Pokemon. This is a good DPS move to slow down oncoming opponents.
5 seconds
Delphox will charge forward and release flames that will slow nearby enemies.

Focus Band
+10 Defense/Special Defense (level 10); +30 Defense/Special Defense for level 30
Energy Amplifier
Doubles the damage output of attacks after Delphox uses its Unite Move.
Buddy Barrier
+450 Bonus HP. Creates ashield for Delphox and the nearest allywhen it uses its Unite Move. The Shield is generated by 15%-25% of a nearby ally’s health.
