So much so, in fact, that a fan of Rockstar’s newest entry in the franchise has noticed a small, but pretty incredible, detail about Arthur Morgan, the game’s protagonist, that went over just about everyone’s head.
Over on Reddit, user ChanDanGreene99 noticed that inRed Dead Redemption 2,Arthur’s pupils will actually dilate depending on the lighting. This was, understandably, an easy detail to miss entirely, so it makes sense that it flew under the radar for so long.Red Dead Redemption 2is packed with small details, and the addition of pupil dilation is certainly one of the finer ones that fans have noticed.

Of course, this doesn’t affect gameplay at all, but it is the type of thing that Rockstar has become known for in its games. Red Dead Redemption 2has almost doubled the sales of the original game, so it’s fair to call it a smashing success. The amount of detail in the game is mind-numbing, and there will likely be more things that pop up between now and whenever Rockstar releases its next game.
