Remnant 2is a game filled with secrets in each location. Hence, it is possible that a player won’t be able to encounter or take part in everyside quest that the game offers, during their first run. One of these ‘side quests’ or challenges involves unlocking the Meridian Handgun.
The Meridian Handgun isn’texactly a handgun, so the term here is vague and misleading because it is actually a grenade launcher. How can players find it? The article below summarizes that.
Where is the Meridian Handgun Located?
The Meridian Handgun is a part of theFlooded Sewer Event, so it’s located in sewage areas ofLosomn. Generally, players can locate the gun in the following places:
Among these options, the Great Sewer is the best choice of location. The Meridian Handgun is found in secret rooms that are spread across Losmus' sewer locations (as mentioned above). These secret pathways aren’t easy to spot, since they’re blocked by shafts and barrels. Usually, players can not see the tunnel behind them. However, the upper portion is somewhat visible.
How to Get the Meridian Handgun
Once the player finds such a location, they’ll have to destroy the objects blocking the tunnel. Once done, they can enter.
As the tunnel ends, players will be able to see a pipe on their left-hand side that’s blocked by white-orange slimes. Shooting these slimes down causes the water to flow, and fill up the sewer. However, it takes 90 minutes in real time for the entire room to have a sufficient amount of water for the next task. Hence, it’s advised not to stand around and wait, and perform other activities until the room fills up. However, do not leave the location, nor re-roll the map. This will reset the progress.
Once the water fills up, players will be able to locate new platforms that have arisen due to the water fillage. When we talk about the Great Sewers, two platforms show up on the right-hand side of the location, leading towards another tunnel. Crossing it results in players finding the Merdian Handgun.
Half of the sewage area (after the tunnel ends) contains water with a few wooden platforms above it. If players fall in the water, they die. Their best bet is to jump across the location with the help of the limited number of platforms.
