The image in question was discovered by Reddit user ScroogeMcCuck422. Leon Kennedy appears on the toy gun package in a stance that can be seen on many ofResident Evil 4’s covers. The caption made by the user suggests that times are tough for the character, having to appear on such cheap merchandise. The tag on the package indicates that the toy gun cost four dollars.
The survival horror franchise is one that boasts a colorful cast of protagonists. Over the years, Leon Kennedy’s appearance in the fourth game has become a fan favorite and is generallyranked highly amountResident Evilprotagonists. The character first appeared as one of two available protagonists inResident Evil 2before returning as the main character inResident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6, and theResident Evil 2remake. The character is currently set to make a return in the remake ofResident Evil 4.
