After descending into the Ruined Forge Lava Intake, and activating itsSite of Grace, players should walk down the nearby staircase, follow the path forward, and climb the ladder at the end. Fans should then continue along the path to reach another ladder, which they should descend.
At the bottom of the second ladder, players should turn left and walk up the ruined staircase that is ahead. Fans should go right when they reach the top of the stairs and collect theGreater Potentate’s Cookbook [13], which makes it possible to craft HeftyVolcano Pots inElden Ring, from a corpse on the ground.
Elden Ringplayersshould now turn around and use the rubble that is ahead to reach an elevated ledge. Upon reaching that ledge, fans should go right and descend the ladder at the end of the path. There is a lever on the platform at the bottom of that ladder, and players should interact with it to lower a large pipe.
Once the pipe has finished its descent, players should drop from the platform and grab theSmithscript Daggerfrom the corpse that is leaning against the far wall. Fans can then jump onto the pipe that they lowered and walk up it. As soon players reach the pipe’s highest point, they should turn to the right, jump to the nearby ledge, and examine the altar at the top of the stairs to obtain theAnvil Hammerand anAncient Dragon Smithing Stone.
The receipt of those two items marks the end of the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon, and players should feel free to use the portal that appears next to the altar to return to its entrance.
