The level of care detailed shown in this recreation of one ofSkyrim’s most iconic locations is the level of detail players might expect from the long-awaitedElder Scrolls 6. Though with that title potentially still years away, players will have to settle for fan creations such as this for now.
SinceSkyrim’s release in 2011, it’s fan creations like this that have allowed the game to flourish all these years later. As the player moves through the town, small rabbits and chickens move out of their way, as signs swing in the wind.Players can actually make theirSkyrimlook similar to this clipthrough the use of graphical mods that continue to evolve as the game gets older.
For fans ofSkyrim, the video will be quite evocative. EverySkyrimplayer remembers the first time that they accidentally killed a chicken in Riverwood, and had the whole town turn on them. It’s the sort of shared experience that many fans bonded over, over a decade ago.Each player ofSkyrimhas their own story to tell, which is why it’s one of the greatest video games ever released.
While this isn’t even the first timeRiverwood has been recreated in another game engine, it does show that an appetite exists to see more fromThe Elder Scrollsfranchise.
