How To Make Potions
Potions can be made at every Alchemy Table inSkyrim.Players will find these tables at apothecary vendors, inns, and Jarl holds. Alchemy tables can also be bought and placed in the Dragonborn’s home. Speak with the steward in a city with an owned home and ask about decorations to purchase one.
Potions are made by combining two or three ingredients. Each ingredient holds four different properties. Combining two ingredients with the same property will create a potion with the same effect. Potions can also have negative effects depending on the ingredients. Try out different combinations to make the perfect potion. Each time players combine items thealchemy skill will raise slightly.Stronger potions are a result of a higher alchemy skill. All ingredients can be found by exploringSkyrim.Ingredients can be bought at apothecaries, but some are rarer than others. Wait a few hours to cycle store inventories.
Fortify Pickpocket Ingredients
Blue Dartwing
These are blue dragonflies that can be caught flying around rivers. Search the marshes of Hjaalmarch near Morthal. Many can spawn in thearea surrounding the Apprentice Stone.Three guaranteed samples are located in Lund’s Hut northwest of Rorikstead.
Nordic Barnacle
Barnacles are harvested from underwater clusters. Search near shipwrecks like Hela’s Folly northeast of Dawnstar. Four guaranteed samples can be found in the Arch-Mage’s Quarters at the College of Winterhold.
Orange Dartwing
These are orange dragonflies. Search the same areas where Blue Dartwings are. Seven guaranteed samples can be found in the Hall of the Dead in Solitude.
Slaughterfish Egg
Eggs are harvested from slaughterfish nests in bodies of water. Search around the Wreck of the Brinehammer northwest of Dawnstar. Seven can be found at theCompanions Guild Living Quartersin Whiterun.
