Skyrimis a sprawling game that has a lot of hidden secrets and details for diligent players to find. However, sometimes those secrets mix with one or a few ofSkyrim’s various bugs to be something special.

There is a wide variety of bugs and glitches all across the world ofSkyrim. While some of them can be more game-ruining than others, many of them tend to createfunny moments in aSkyrimplaythrough. However, sometimes a bug or glitch can be used to give players an advantage, or give them access to items or builds that they weren’t intended to have access to.

This is the case for one recently discovered bug that allowed a player to get their hands on two Dawnbreakers in a single playthrough. A report of the bug came from a post to the game’s subreddit by Reddit user TheMuggleBornWizard. The post comes from aSkyrimplayer whose girlfriend was plaything through the game for the first time when TheMuggleBornWizard looked over and saw them wielding two of the legendary sword at once. The Dawnbreaker is one of thestrongest one-handed weapons inSkyrim, so players are intended to only have access to one during any given playthrough.

Luckily, commentators on the post have gone on to explain exactly how something like this can happen. Players earn the Dawnbreaker by completing the quest The Break of Dawn. The quest officially ends when players grab Dawnbreaker from a pedestal after killing Malkoran. However, if Dawnbreaker is hit with a powerful spell such as Fireball or Ice Storm a clone of Dawnbreaker will be sent flying across the room. If players pick up that version of Dawnbreaker, the one on the pedestal will remain, allowing players to loot two of them anddecimate a room full ofSkyrim’s Draugr.

It is cool to see theSkyrimcommunity continue to find interesting new things throughout the game. Being able to collect two Dawnbreakers is definitely an interesting addition to a playthrough ofSkyrim, and is a fun way for players to be able to make some different builds or experiment with dual-wielding the legendary weapon. Fans likely have along time to wait forThe Elder Scrolls 6, so it is cool that there are still more things to find inSkyrimfor fans while they wait for the newest entry to release. Hopefully, players will still be able to get up to some antics whenThe Elder Scrolls 6launches.
