Bethesda recently released the Creation Kit forStarfield, which has raised the bar for what modders are able to achieve in the game. While the benefits of this won’t be immediately obvious, in the long run, this will result in some incredible mods being produced over the next few years. There have already been some fantastic mods, however, with oneStarfieldmod even managing to fix Earth, which is one of the community’s biggest complaints about the game.
Redditor Hjalmere showed screenshots from theiramazingStarfieldmod, which aims to transform their ship interior to give it some seriousStar Warsvibes. Based on the screenshots so far, they’ve certainly achieved that, with images showing the Captain’s Quarters and Med Bay. Notably, there are someStar Wars-themed window swaps, as well as lit edges to several surfaces as seen in the classic film series. There’s even a holochess table, shown as it appears inA New Hope. Unfortunately, the mod isn’t complete yet, with Hjalmere confirming that they plan to complete the crew quarters, science lab, engine bay, and cargo hold before it’s ready for release.
Starfield Ship Interior Looks Straight Out of Star Wars
In many ways,StarfieldandStar Warsgo hand-in-hand. Aesthetically, they have a decent amount in common, which makes many fans take inspiration from the franchise when creating their ship builds inStarfield. There was even oneStarfieldfan who recreated Anakin’s starship fromStar Wars, showing exactly how these two franchises can be brought together in a cohesive way. Going forward, it’ll be interesting to see how more fans find more connections betweenStarfieldandStar Wars.
In the time sinceStarfieldwas released last year, Bethesda has worked hard to address many of the complaints that plagued the game at launch.Lots of features have massively improved inStarfield, and the game seems to be in a really good place right now. Hopefully, the upcoming Shattered Space DLC can capitalize on the game’s recent positive momentum to win back many of the players who were let down at launch. This, combined with the dedication of the modding community, will be key toStarfieldhaving a long lifespan.
