Another surprise addition to theWWE 2K23has just been announced. As the title’s release date draws closer, the previews for the game grow more in-depth, and more out-of-nowhere reveals continue to emerge. Recently, WWE AlumniTyler Breeze was confirmed to be part of theWWE 2K23rosterwhich shocked a lot of fans as the roster reveal had already happened days earlier.
With thedeep roster already announced inWWE 2K23, superstars of the past and the present will be gracing the character selection to the delight of many fans. Among those already announced, different gimmicks for the fan-favorite wrestlers were also revealed. As included in the Icon Edition, John Cena’s “Prototype,” Batista’s “Leviathan,” and other classic personas will also be playable. This begs the question of which other variations will be present in the game. A surprise announcement now confirms one of the most unexpected inclusions forWWE 2K23.

During the latest episode of WWE 2K ShowDown on Twitch, it was revealed that Jean-Paul Levesque will be available to unlock via MyRISE. For those unfamiliar with the name, Jean-Paul Levesque was Triple H’s character in WCW before he moved to WWE. The gimmick is similar to his blue-blood persona but dialed up to ten. Most new fans are unfamiliar with this character, hence, the surprise inclusion inWWE 2K23really comes out as fresh. As confirmed by the development team, once unlocked, players will be able to play this version of the WWE Chief Content Officer in most in-game modes, including Play Now and Online.
As previously mentioned, Jean-Paul Levesque will be unlocked by playingWWE 2K23’s new and improved MyRISE mode. The development team also discussed that various optional storylines will help unlock many items within the game, so it will be best to sift through every nook and cranny within MyRISE to be able to fully obtain every item and character within the game.
Reveals such as this give hope that there are other available alternates hidden in the game. Just in the same stream, the team also showed a photo of Mighty Molly, which was a gimmick Molly Holly did during her time with The Hurricane. With several in-game superstars having had different personas over the years, fans could now expect that their favorite ones might make it in the game. TheSeason Pass content forWWE 2K23has just been announced and among the names were Bray Wyatt and Scott Steiner. Hardcore fans' hopes may have just come up in seeing The Fiend and Big Poppa Pump possibly join the roster if more variants will be available in-game.
