Thankfully a new report from GamesRadar reveals a few tidbits regarding the game’s implementation of haptic feedback technology. Courtesy of this, players can now feel the tension in theDualSense adaptive triggerswhen they tug the string on the bow, one of the key weapons in the game. Moreover, every bullet shot also adds much more feel in contrast to what players could experience in the PS4’s DualShock 4 controller. Additionally, players can also feel the rumble of the boat’s engine while traversing in a specific chapter of the game. Ramming through obstacles as well as taking sharp turns will also result in feedbacks that feels genuine. While the haptics is a great addition to thePS5 versionof the game, little tweaks such as the color of DualSense LED transitioning to green to resemble the moth in the loading screen also makes for a subtle change.
Even thoughThe Last of Us 2was received with generally high reviews from critics all around the globe, the game wasriddled with backlashand review bombing from a multitude of die-hard fans of the original title.
