What are PlantSims in the Sims 4
PlantSims have been in the franchisesinceThe Sims 2and have made a fun return inThe Sims 4. Unlike other occults, they can not be created and can only be found during gameplay. PlantSims are a temporary form that Sims can take on for five days.
PlantSims have green skin and hair but otherwise look like normal Sims. Once a Sim takes on the state, they will gain different needs, including water and special hunger needs.
Water will replace their bladder function, so players must submerge their PlantSims or drink water. Additionally, they will need to photosynthesize by being in direct sunlight orabsorb solar energy from plantsto refill their hunger need. PlantSims can also talk to plants when their social need gets low. Once five days pass, PlantSims will wilt and turn back into normal Sims.
How to Turn Into a PlantSim
There are two ways to become a PlantSim inThe Sims 4. The easiest way isthrough the Plant-A-Sim scenario. Scenarios are story-based situations that Sims can complete for unique gameplay and rewards. Scenarios provide a specific context, and players will complete tasks to play through them, like in goaled events.
Plant-A-Sim can be started from the main menuby clicking New Scenarioand selecting it from the list of challenges. When it starts, Sims have several Forbidden Fruits of the PlantSim in their inventory. As soon as they eat one, they will transform into a PlantSim.
The second way to become a PlantSim is to grow the Forbidden Fruit of the PlantSim. It can only be grown from Magic Beans found in Rare Plant Seed packets. Rare Plant Seed packets can only be bought afterSims reach Gardening level 10. Players will need six beans to grow the Forbidden Fruit of the PlantSim tree. After collecting all the beans, they can be planted in the Magic PlantSim Stump in Build/Buy mode.
