Summary

Since its introduction,World of Warcraft’s Trading Post has been a great way for players to interact with systems they may have never interacted with before. Every single month, a new set of tasks is given to them via the Traveler’s Log that lets them earn Trader’s Tender that can then be spent on a massive rotating catalog of cosmetics. And this month, many of those tasks seem to be incentivizing players to level up newWorld of Warcraftcharacters.

While some of the tasks this month are tied to various holiday events or are the usual monthly tasks, a couple of them solely exist to level up new alts. This late into an expansion, players are often looking for something to liven uptheirWorld of Warcrafttimewhile they wait for the next round of content to get released. Even though they could continue doing the same thing every day, leveling offers a nice reprieve from that, and October seems to be the perfect month to do so.

October is the Perfect Month to Level Alts

Every single month sinceWorld of Warcraftintroduced the Trading Post, there have been many of the same tasks. Usually, players can finish world quests, compete in dragonriding races, kill raid or dungeon bosses, and do various emotes across the world. Additionally, there tend to be a couple of tasks tied to newer additions or monthly events. That seems to be the case in October as well, but Blizzard has also added a few new leveling incentives for those who are looking to create a new character.

Unlike previous months, this month’s Traveler’s Log will reward players with points if they reach certain level milestones. They will be rewarded if they hit levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and even 70 by the end of the month. This means that players will be given points by starting a fresh character and leveling them all the way to max level. By doing so, they will be able to almostcomplete their monthly Traveler’s Logwithout too much trouble.

These leveling rewards are not the only incentive tolevel a newWorld of Warcraftcharacterthis month because there are even more tasks associated with leveling. For starters, each month tends to offer a task tied to the number of quests players can complete. This month, players will be rewarded if they can complete 10, 25, and 50 quests by the end of the month. If they are leveling an alt for the other tasks, then completing these three tiers will be extremely easy. Some players may even complete them without even realizing it.

Moreover, this month’s Traveler’s Log will also reward players for completing quests on Pandaria. Ever sinceWorld of Warcraft’s leveling revamp, players have been able to select the expansion that they would prefer to level in. So, players can create a new character, select Mists of Pandariaas their leveling adventure, and then complete the questing task associated with it. Doing that alongside the leveling-specific tasks and 50 quests should mean that they finish the entire Traveler’s Log easily.

Once players finish the Traveler’s Log, they will be able to spend all of their newly acquired Tender on some exciting cosmetics. Plus, they will have a brand-new max-level character that they can use to complete endgame content. This sounds like a win-win for players, which makes this month’s Traveler’s Log the perfect treat right now. As players continue to explore every single inch of the Dragon Isles, they may be looking for something new, and following the monthly log should give many of them exactly that.
