All six of theTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsclasses have been revealed, and Gearbox has crafted a fascinating lineup of abilities for players to wield in the spin-off. The final two classes unveiled to the public were the Spore Warden and the Graveborn. Whilethe Spore Warden’s unique bowand mushroom companion have instantly brought a lot of attention to the class, the Graveborn’s abilities seem to be the most unique in the game.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers that choose the Graveborn will have to deal with self-damage when using their abilities, something entirely new to theBorderlandsfranchise. As the only class in the game to have this self-damage, the Graveborn is the riskiest option players have available to them. However, the class’s abilities wounding them is beneficial, as it allows the abilities to be incredibly powerful. The Graveborn will likely be a class that rewards experienced players who master its downsides, which could make it very rewarding in the long term.

Why The Mechanics of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Graveborn Are So Intriguing

Currently, two abilities have been revealed forTiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Graveborn, and both come with some downsides. The first of these special abilities is “Reaper of Bones.” This ability should be particularly deadly, as it allows players to lifesteal and deal increased melee damage for a period of time - though player health will constantly be draining.

When using “Reaper of Bones,” players will want to keep stealing enemy health to restore their own, utilizing their magic attacks in between to deal extreme damage. Not only will players need to learn when to use magic and when to focus on stealing health, but this could be an excellent ability to build around. Not only could skills lower the amount of health players lose when using the ability, butTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayerscould seek out shields and other items that increase their base health pools.

The other ability revealed for theTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsclassis “Dire Sacrifice.” This allows players to unleash an AoE attack that deals dark magic damage to all nearby enemies, and it could be excellent for crowd control. Once again, players will need to be careful when they use this ability, with high-health class setups also making the 20% hit a bit less intimidating. While it is unclear what potential upgrades there will be for this skill, some could see the 20% hit lessened or the AoE blast’s range and damage boosted, adding to the depth of the class.

While fans have an idea of what eachTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsclass can do, the full skill trees of these classes have not yet been revealed. However, it is likely that at least one of the classes will come with some tankier health upgrades, making it a great option to pair with the Graveborn. ThroughTiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ multi-class system, players could potentially build a class that keeps all the Graveborn’s strengths but does away with its weaknesses.

While it will likely take longer to master than something likeTiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Clawbringer, the Graveborn looks like it will reward high-skill players who enjoy making intricate builds. Having a class like this is great forTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, as it introduces a new style of gameplay that is entirely fresh to theBorderlandscommunity. While it remains to be seen if the Graveborn is well-balanced, and if the abilities are actually worth sacrificing health for, the class looks excellent on paper.
