Since they were first introduced in 2005, the achievements that make up Microsoft’s Gamerscore system have been a huge part of the gaming experience for many Xbox users. It’s such an intrinsic part nowadays that, for many, hunting down every single achievement in a gameis as much a part of the fun as the game itself.

Fifteen years have passed since the system debuted, time enough for many players to end up with an impressive number of achievements, and now they have an easy way to keep track of them. TrueAchievements, a site where players can keep track of theirXboxachievements, has recently created a tool it calls #MyDecadeOnXbox, which lets them get a clearer picture of their achievement habits.

Through this tool, users can use it to generate a graphic (example below) full of information full of interesting statistics about their time gaming on Xbox/Windows platforms during 2010-2019. The amount of stats #MyDecadeOnXbox brings up is actually rather thorough, as it charts not just how many achievements and Gamerscore they’ve earned, but alsohow many rare achievements they’ve earnedand the total amount of games they’ve played. The tool even breaks down a user’s gaming activity by specific months, the genres of their games, and the time it took to complete them, in addition to several other factors.

AlthoughMicrosoft has provided Xbox users with achievement-tracking featuresin recent years, those are focused on the achievements players are currently in the process of earning. This, on the other hand, serves to make it easy for them to look back and remember their gaming highlights.

Just as a reminder, though, this is a third-party tool that Microsoft has nothing to do with, and that is designed for use by TrueAchievement’s users. Newcomers to the site will have to make a TA account and sync their Xbox account information to it to see their last decade of gaming summarized for them.

Xbox achievements have changed a lot since 2010, and it’s likely that they will change even more in the coming years. The next generation of Xbox, the Xbox Series X, is coming this year, and it will include the Gamerscore system as well. As for how it will approach it, Microsoft hasn’t said yet, but the company has stated that, thanks to its backwards compatibility with past Xbox consoles, the Xbox Series X will let users carry over achievements and other game datafrom older consoles.
