Shillings are the main currency used in the shop inWarhammer Vermintide 2. That has all the red flags of a “premium” currency, but it is not. In fact, it’s not possible to buy Shillings at all, so despite a shop filled with real-money cosmetics, this kind of financial gain can only be acquired by playing the game.

There are a ton of cool cosmetics inWarhammerVermintide 2and virtually all of them cost Shillings of three digits or more. Players can sometimes be rewarded Shillings in amounts of five, but that’s nowhere near enough. Don’t leave it to chance, grab loads of Shillings in every play session.
Earning Shillings With Okri’s Quests
Before selecting a class and mission, check on Okri’s Challenges. It’s the book with the skull on it. Find the lectern next to the shop where the tome rests. On the left side, look at the quests. They will be divided into daily, weekly, and event sections.

Before simply choosingthe best classand playing, make it a goal to knock out these first. Since they are limited-time rewards, players will be losing out on Shillings when these objectives expire. The trick is to try and get as many missions done as possible.
For example, on the day of this writing, there is a daily quest to play as Victor Saltzpyre, a weekly quest to get 150 headshots, and an event quest to 250 empowered enemies. These can all be done at the same time by playing as the Bounty Hunter during the weekly event. Within about thirty minutes, players can get all three quests completed for a total of 105 silver coins.

For a gameas long asWarhammer Vermintide 2is, that’s a highly efficient way to spend time. After doing this, knock out any remaining objectives. For those with the premium classes in the DLC, there are challenges that also yield Shillings as a reward in the Challenges portion of Okri’s Challenges, so check those out as well.
Warhammer Vermintide 2is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
