Xbox announced that six new Vapor series designs were added to the Xbox Design Lab. These patterns include Dream Vapor, Cyber Vapor, Fire Vapor, Electric Vapor, Stormcloud Vapor, and Nocturnal Vapor, which all incorporate a swirling, multicolored design. Users can select one of these designs in the Xbox Design Lab and customize their controller by modifying the grips, bumpers, triggers, ABXY buttons, d-pad, and more. Xbox also announced the new special edition Dream Vapor controller, which utilizes the Vapor series' Dream Vapor design but adds flair to it by extending its soft pink colors to the thumbstick, buttons, bumpers, and d-pad. It also implements rubberized purple side grips and comes with an exclusive dynamic background for Xbox Series X and S consoles. Users can preorder the special edition controller for $69.99, which is set to release on February 5th.

Recently, fans spotted amysterious Amazon listing for a Microsoft-branded Xbox controller, which displays a release date for February 20th. The listing is still live at the time of writing but is also still devoid of any details. It’s unclear whether this listing is linked to the Vapor series of controllers or if fans can look forward to additional announcements next month regarding Xbox controllers.
Xbox fans might have additional controller news to look forward to this year, as an insider claimed that anall-new Xbox controller might be revealed this summer. The controller, codenamed Sebile, is expected to implement some of the features seen in PlayStation’s DualSense controller, such as precision haptic feedback.
