OneZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer discovers a surprising reaction from the game when attempting to bring a horse down into the depths. Like its predecessor, Tears of the Kingdom encourages player expression and creativity for not only exploring the massive world, but in overcoming various challenges as well. The original Sheikah Slate powers like Stasis and Bomb have been outright replaced inTears of the Kingdomfor abilities like Ultrahand, Recall, and Fuse.
The outright switch in abilities have seemingly opened up a whole new creative side for the community, who have wasted no time in pushing what’s possible inside the game. While certain enemies in Breath of the Wild like Lynels represented a major combat challenge,Tears of the Kingdomplayers have devised creative traps for easily dealing with them. Vehicles and combat machines aren’t the only creations being made as some players are building contraptions to test what can and can’t be done in Hyrule.

OneZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer wanted to see what would happen if they brought their horse into the underworld zone called the Depths. To test this theory, the Reddit user named Uh_oh_its_a created a platform surrounds by fans to attempt to lower the horse down one of the many chasms on the overworld map. While seemingly being stuck hovering in place, the horse and the platform it was standing on simply disappeared, leaving behind a small green splatter.
The surprising end result confirmed that horses can’t be lowered into the depths, though that didn’t stop the community from having a laugh, even making a few dark jokes about the horse being used for glue due to the green splat at the end. While many wondered if the result now prompted the player tovisit the Horse God Malanyato resurrect it, Uh_oh_its_a managed to confirmed that the horse wasn’t in fact dead, but only teleported back to the safety of the surface.
While horses likely won’t be seen in the Depths anytime soon, some players have used the Fuse ability to essentially smuggle exclusive items out of shrines and putting them to use in the overworld. These unique Zonai devices have opened up even more creative solutions like oneTears of the Kingdomplayer creating an electric vehicle powered exclusively by yellow chuchus. While some may call this unethical, it does manage to circumvent the limitations presented by Link’s battery power.
